Do Great Work

This was a custom hand lettering I did for New York Ave’s company motto — Do Great Work, Don’t Be A Jerk. A simple but powerful mantra. This is the mindset New York Ave has built it’s company on and shows how they treat their clients, employee’s and vendors. To spread this culture to their client’s this lettering piece was produced as enamel pins and stickers and sent with an onboarding package to all new clients.

The style was meant to be seen as professional but sprinkled with some quirkiness in the unperfect letters to show the fun spirit New York Ave as a company embodies. The Pac man is a subtle reference to the pop culture of New York Ave and gaming that goes on from time to time on their company Arcade machine; showing clients that New York Ave as a partner is both professional but also approachable.
